Acura and The Avengers

Acura and Marvel teamed up for a second time to promote Acura's involvement in the blockbuster movie, The Avengers. Coming off last year's "Join S.H.I.E.L.D" campaign, which promoted Acura's part in the movie Thor, this year's microsite called our previous recruits back to arms. Once debriefed on their new mission (AKA The Avengers Initiative), each agent was equipped with a S.H.I.E.L.D. Edition Acura. We created technologies inspired by The Avengers own super powers, giving a tangible feel and function to the characters’ more fantastical features. On every level, fans could unlock new Avengers technologies and implement them in mini-games with the modified vehicles for the chance to qualify for incentives. The site received and FWA over one-million unique impressions.
